Activities

While staying at Possum Park you could go on some of the fire trail walks. The most popular is the 3.4km bunker walk and enjoy the 20 WWII ammunition bunkers, Number 9 is free to walk inside.

For the more adventurous you could try the bunker top walk or the sunset lookout walk. These are on fire trails with some uneven ground and possible trip hazards due to rocks and termite mounds.

If your a keen bird watcher then keep an eye out for the many bird species including the grey crowned babbler or golden whistler.

If photography is more your style then we have some spectacular sunrises and sunsets. On a clear night we have millions of stars visible because of very little light pollution so don’t forget your telescope.

We also have a few resident kangaroos, wallabies and lizards. If your more into butterflies or bugs then we have them too.
